Nick Cannon’s “School Dance” private Screening

Bend you, spin you and go up in You! – Mike Epps as the Principal Rodgers .

This week we recently experienced a screening for the comedy entitled School Dance which is directed, written, produced and starred by entertainer Nick Cannon; thru his movie company NCREDIBLE. The Screening was held at Bryant Park Hotel private theater. Our host was Jack Thriller Of
The plot of the movie takes place in a high school setting. The opening scene features popular young actor Bobb’e J. Thompson who plays “Jason” (The Tracy Morgan Show) He begins his opening line narrating The coming events of the school dance. The following line up consist of great comedian talent: Lil Duval, Katt Williams, Kevin Hart, Mike Epps, LueNell and George Lopez. Other popular talent to grace the screen were: Wilmer Valderrama (That 70s Show), Amber Rose (Whiz Khalifa wife), The New Boys, and The Rangers.
Though the storyline was typical high school cliques in a typical hood/gang environment in California, it was for us the nonstop over the top comical lines that had us rolling on the floor laughing hysterically. The movie, though yes is funny it has a message in it. Our young people want to be seen, heard and understood. Gangs and cliques make them feel acknowledged, also the fact that the senseless killing being on an all time high shows why more events such as school dances and community-based events should be held more often to keep children off the streets and out of  trouble. The School Dance is to debut in select theaters, on demand and online July 2, 2014.
SideBar: Y’all do peep the names Kevin Hart and Mike Epps on the same movie line up? A yeah, tune in to watch and see lol.
