Kendrick Lamar pimp’d the Grammys

Compton’s prince Kendrick Lamar took the 58th Grammy’s night with not only an amazing performance (refer to
Tumblr/TheQweens), He also stole the show with the most historical moment to date; Kendrick Lamar‘s To Pimp a Butterfly won rap album of the year.
He received accolades from that of the White House and fellow artist in the hiphop community. However, there is one tidbit that seems to be circulating which is why J.Cole‘s album Forest Hills Drive didn’t win for rap album of the year. That is his second album and is the first album in history to go platinum without no features. Could this be the reason behind the prolonged tour dates to feat him J.Cole with Kendrick Lamar or perhaps the Butterfly which got pimped was THE INDUSTRY haha Think about it… Congrats to Kendrick Lamar once again and all those nominated.

The Grammy Sizzlers (Ladies )

Lastnight The 58th Grammys had many surprises and sizzling selections. The red carpet looks of the night that caught our eyes was Ciara in a long backdrop;thigh high gown which was

Sultry look appeared on Philly singer Jazmine Sullivan who wore popular designer Michael Costello. The staple of the night however was a great surprise Formation’s singer Beyonce in all white Inbal Dror gown. Though an over all dull show due to incidents such as Rihanna having bronchiolitis following cancellation of performance;  the red carpet in conjuction with the special surprises along the way saved the show.

Kirk Franklin x Kanye West x SNL

The most popular gospel artist to date has an announcement he made just a few hours ago
#Rp @kirkfranklin

Kanye is not me. I am not him. He is my brother I am proud to do life with. No sprints, but Marathons; like most of us are on. Before one song was released, I was crucified because my brother asked me to take a picture. Again “no Kanye, you’re not good enough”? No. That is a dangerous message I believe we send to the world when our posture is they have to meet certain requirements before they are worthy to kiss the ring. It says people are not redeemable, forgivable or candidates for grace. That my friend is religious. I will not turn my back on my brother. I will love him, prayerfully grow with him. However long he’ll have me, and however long the race takes. To a lot of my Christian family, I’m sorry he’s not good enough, Christian enough, or running at your pace…and as I read some of your comments, neither am I. That won’t stop me from running. Pray we win.
